Jul 25, 2010 Hey Matt or moderator, the bracket is not setup correctly. The 2nd- and 3rd-seeded wrestlers should be placed on the same side of the brackets - in other words, they should potentially meet in the semis and not the finals. The same could be said about the 1st- and 4th-seeded wrestlers. The 5th-seeded wrestler should potentially face the 4th-seeded wrestler in the quarters and the 8th- should face the 1st in the quarters as well. The design of a bracket should follow an S-curve. Jul 28, 2010 OK, thanks for the explanation. But it is still a tournament, regardless of the sport/competition. Even beer pong tournaments follow the same structure. And every tournament should be designed to give the top seed the easiest route to the finals - to give the record/performance during the season more meaning.
