Mar 2, 2010 The "Dom in training" concept was great and it was interesting to watch Van's technique and listen to his excellent advice. Alas, Christian Wilde was pretty clueless and lacking any initiative or desire to be a Dom. I couldn't help thinking that deep down he is a sub rather than a Dom and no amount of training will overcome that nor should it. Patrick made the shoot. He looks good and is a superb sub. While I appreciate it was a live shoot, there was a lot of "what shall we do next" giving the impression of a lack of forethought into how it would pan out. Jan 25, 2010 My problem is with the gags you use.Most are symbolic and this turns me off rather than on.I can understand you using the dental gag so much because of the inability of the bottom to avoid sucking cock and this turns a lot of guys on but be honest, you do use it WAY TOO MUCH. I'm surprised that other customers have not commented on this(use of ineffective gags)because from looking at comments on other sites there are certainly a lot of guys out there that do want really effective gags. Van Darkholme's running commentary and clear instructions provide a rare look into the often unspoken communication between dom and submissive. He makes it clear that the master must monitor the physical and mental condition of the boy at all times, not because he is sympathetic with the boy's stress, but because the slave is a tool for the master's pleasure, and tools must be taken care of. Darkholme's continuous description of what he's going to do next and of what is expected from the slave helps the viewer partipate in the scene at a much deeper level than usual: the scenario of teaching a new dom makes all this commentary necessary and believable: he is especially good about "timing"--letting the slave, and his dom student, know that tasks must be done slowly and carefully: making the slave count his cane snaps with a cock in his mouth is inspired.
